Understanding Human Interaction on Social Media
In 2026, Lifespan Education commissioned an independent evaluation of our Founder’s TikTok community @growingwithleong, conducted by Dr Helen Scott of Grounded Solutions Ltd (UK).
The study uses Grounded Theory methodology to examine how interactions between a content creator and viewers develop, and how these interactions contribute to the nature of an online social space.
Research Ethics: Favourable Ethics Opinion received from the University of Portsmouth Research Ethics Committee, 10 March 2026 (Reference: 25/ETHICS/017)
The analysis has been completed, and the research is being prepared for academic publications.
