Student Life Unplugged podcast

Taking part in the podcast was very interesting, engaging and friendly. Leong and Elisa explained that podcast is a conversation about our experiences where Ivan, the fellow participant, and I were discussing the differences between our schooling in Russia and university life abroad. Also, they encouraged to be open with the personal topics that we want to exclude from podcast to make it more convenient to us. The podcast was engaging, and not scary to take part in. It was time efficient for everyone’s schedule. Recommend to take part if you like to engage, share and just discuss university life abroad and all the exciting things 🌟

I worked with Leong recently on a research project related to social media. What stood out for me was Leong’s warmth, authenticity, honour and professionalism. He creates inclusive online spaces and takes great care of the people with whom he interacts online and offline.

Educational collaboration

I am an educator and I worked with Leong on projects related to lesson plans and curriculum alignment.

It was such a pleasure to work with Leong. His approach to collaboration was grounded in genuine respect, curiosity, and a desire to create opportunities for youth to thrive. Perhaps what struck me most, personally, was that I always came away from our conversations more hopeful and positive about the world. The work we did together has influenced how I think about education and the importance of the 4Cs (collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and communication). What a world we would live in if everyone was highly skilled in those areas! Leong modeled all four brilliantly.

I produce the podcast ‘Student Life Unplugged’ and from the very beginning, working with Leong has been an absolute joy. His vision is genuinely altruistic, and his energy and enthusiasm are truly contagious. Consistently flexible, kind, and generous, he brings a curiosity about life and people that elevates every part of the work. It’s been a pleasure collaborating with him.

Creative video and AI

I’ve worked with Leong on several creative video projects involving innovative AI tools. He was always so kind in giving feedback on my work and patient with the step by step process of creating animated stories. It’s been a pleasure working with him! I’m thankful to Leong for the opportunity he gave me to generously play with and learn more in-depth about new tools and more about storytelling while working together.
He has rich experience in a wide variety of work roles and hobbies. Honestly, I’m not sure If I know someone who has tried so many different things in life. Leong is a wise man with a young spirit, dedicated to promoting the joy of learning. I was inspired by his lifestyle to enjoy life better – both the positive and negative situations.

E-Learning Project for Youth

Leong was a fantastic client to work with. Over the past few months, we worked together on an e-learning project for youth that stretched my creativity when thinking about how to develop engaging learning experiences for young learners. Leong brought forth an inspirational vision of what he hoped to accomplish by the end of the our project, was clear in his project requirements, had clear and firm learning objectives, and was wonderful to collaborate with. Thanks to Leong, I feel as though my passion for instructional design has been reignited, as his enthusiasm for education is contagious! I look forward to working with Leong again in the future and am proud of the work we accomplished together.
