Experiences

Building experiences where people practise being human together

We create, research and participate in experiences where people listen and are listened to, reflect on their lives, and practise walking alongside one another across cultures, generations and digital spaces.

We are formed through our journeys together.

STUDENT LIFE Podcast

Join us as we chat about the ups, downs, and zigzags of being a student in today’s world.

The Student Life Unplugged podcast is a podcast series where we hear from high school and university students around the world chat about life and studies.

This podcast is produced by experienced producer Elisa Kennedy.

STUDENT FORUM

We support the student forums run by Seeds of Mind, where students from around the world come together in vibrant spaces to discuss real issues, share unique experiences, and build something bigger than themselves.

RESEARCH: Understanding human connection in online spaces

In 2026, Lifespan Education commissioned an independent evaluation of a TikTok community facilitated by our Founder. The evaluation aimed to better understand how people interact, connect and reflect together online.

The research explored patterns of interaction in the community over multiple pieces of content. The study focused on community-wide patterns rather than individual participants.

The research phase has now concluded and the findings are being prepared for publication.

The Future of WORK

We recognize the future of work as a shift into global workspaces dominated by freelance, remote, and virtual roles. New opportunities enable individuals and organizations to overcome geographical, temporal, and cultural barriers, opening up previously inaccessible human resources and job markets.

We collaborate with Rosalyn from Rose.Virtually, who provides administrative support and social media management for our programs. For additional insights and to discuss potential collaboration opportunities, please feel free to contact Rose.

QUEST: IMMERSIVE TOOL EXPLORING ENGAGEMENT

The Lifespan Education Engaged Learner Profile is a set of attributes that is essential to how we thrive in the dynamic interconnected world of today.

We collaborate with writer Marisa Baratta  and Instructional Designer Janie Vu to develop an immersive, interactive Quest tool to explore how you engage with the world based on this profile.

21st Century learning Skills

In today’s rapidly evolving world, the ability to adapt and learn new skills is more important than ever. We support international efforts to bring 21st century learning skills into our school and education system. We also encourage the development of these skills among informal learners.

We collaborate with educational consultant Megan Hartz to develop a series of lesson plans for high school teachers and students, based on the 4Cs of 21st century skills, namely Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication and Collaboration.

Creative Writing

Language is one of the ways we make sense of ourselves and one another. Creative writing allows us to reflect, imagine and participate in each other’s lives.

We believe in the promotion of imaginative reading and creative writing as a core experience for all students.

We collaborate with writer Marisa Baratta on a project called Collaborative Tales where writer and readers collaborate to build a story in creative and fun ways. Click here for a description of how it works. Follow the link below to join in

Generative AI FOR LEARNING

We explore how generative AI can support human formation rather than replace it.

We collaborate with motion designer and animator Dim Rusev to create animated stories exploring the interface between humanity and generative AI.

STUDENTPULSE GLOBAL: Insights into global Students Experiences Online

In this 2023-24 project, we embark on a global journey to capture the diverse and vibrant life of students through the lens of social media. Our international team, spread across various cultures and time zones, monitored social platforms to gain insights into the world students are living in online.

This project resulted in a deeper understanding of student life that informed our subsequent planning and development of new experiences.

Social Media

Social media represents a significant cultural evolution that intertwines human interaction with multimedia. While acknowledging the potential risks and challenges, such as distraction, misinformation, and impacts on mental health, we also believe social media can foster enriching experiences crucial for nurturing well-rounded students in the 21st century when used responsibly and effectively.

From sharing practical study tips and facilitating gratitude journaling to showcasing artistic performances and exploring daily life stories, we embrace a diverse range of positive human experiences on social media platforms. We actively role model responsible use and digital well-being to mitigate potential downsides.

We collaborate with our preferred partner Social Cut, to optimise social media use to enhance engagement and learning.

Join Lifespan Education in sharing the joy of learning.
