Student Leadership Panel

Building the Collaborative Leadership the World Needs

The Student Leadership Panel brings together students and recent graduates from across the globe who care deeply about education and student wellbeing worldwide.

It is a practice space for the kind of leadership that matters most: creating conditions where people can do their best work across difference, navigating complexity together, and bringing out the best in each other.

What Makes This Different

Panel members don’t just offer opinions, they collaborate, challenge each other’s thinking, practice working across cultural differences, and shape the direction of Lifespan Education’s work. They have genuine agency to raise topics they are passionate about and lead conversations where they see opportunities for impact.

The world tells young people that collaboration is important. We built this space precisely to allow them to practice collaboration – with permission to be uncertain, make mistakes, and learn from the process while working on real challenges in education and digital wellbeing.

Through gatherings and ongoing dialogue, panel members:

  • Guide Lifespan Education’s resource development and advocacy priorities
  • Develop capacity to collaborate across deep cultural and perspective differences
  • Practice navigating disagreement in ways that deepen understanding
  • Build a global community of peers who share their values
  • Discover what they’re capable of with real agency and support

The panel meets every two months via Zoom and maintains continuous connection through a dedicated communication channel for ongoing discussions.

The panel membership is by invitation only, based on identifying potential candidates via Lifespan Education programs and activities, and an assessment of the candidate’s readiness, openness to learn and capacity to contribute to the group.
